Aaron Belkin, Associate Professor of Political Science at San Francisco State University, Director of the Palm Center, and formerly Associate Professor of Political Science at UCSB, returns to campus to discuss his new book, How We Won: Progressive Lessons from the Repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."  In this lecture, Professor Belkin will provide an inside story about how the effort to overturn the 17-year ban against gay and lesbian service in the U.S. military was accomplished.
