We, in the Department of Political Science, are saddened by the events that occurred in Isla Vista and are ready to support our students as best as we are able and in conjunction with other offices on campus.
Student Affairs has put together a Student Emergency Resources website, which includes up-to-date Academic Advising and Financial Aid information, as well as a list of easy-to-access Counseling resources.
If students have questions about the remainder of the quarter, due dates, etc., they should contact their Instructors and TAs. Our Undergraduate Advisor, Stephen Wiener, and our Peer Advisors are also available to give guidance and advice.
If students are seeking answers to questions from a broader academic perspective, Advisors in the College of Letters and Science (1st floor of Cheadle Hall) are available on a walk-in and appointment basis. Walk-In Advising is available in 1117 Cheadle Hall from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm each day of the week.
