UCSB is one of the best places in the world to study Environmental Politics. The team of political scientists, which consists of seven faculty and several graduate students, makes up one of the largest groups studying environmental politics at any US university.

Ph.D. Alumna Jessica Feezell's article "Does arguing about politics turn young people off?" was published in the Washington Post's Monkey Cage.

Matto Mildenberger (Associate Professor), Sarah Anderson (Associate Professor, Bren), and Heather Hodges (Alumna) won awards at this year's annual APSA conference for work in Environmental Politics.
