1. I generally only allow independent study for students that have taken courses from me and received a B+ or better.
2. Pre-negotiate topic and workload with instructor
3. Get the PS199 Indep Study form from the Political Science Undergraduate Adviser's Office.
4. Fill out as much of the form as possible. I will fill in the course description. 
5. Leave the completed form in my mailbox.
