Dec 14: Someone left a jacket behind at the final exam. I'll keep it in my office tomorrow, and
then turn it into lost and found on Monday if nobody claims it by then. Also, I'm still missing a few
papers --- email me if you haven't turned your paper in yet and let me know what's going on.
Dec 9: The final review sheet has now been posted --- sorry for the delay (I had some
computer problems at home). The format of the final will be the same as the midterm (answer 4 of 6
short answer questions). There will not be a review session for the final (I'm having trouble finding
a large enough room), but the review sheet should help, and of course I can answer questions by email.
Nov 20: A page was omitted from the Paulos reading in our reader. I'll hand out a corrected
version of the reading in class today.
Nov 6: There will be a midterm review today, from 5-6pm, in Buchanan 1910.
Nov 6: Bring a bluebook for the midterm on Wednesday.
The midterm will consist of 6 short answer questions, of which you must pick 4 to answer.
An example of a short answer question is:
"In the chapter we read from Popkin he introduces a concept
that many have termed `low information rationality.' Explain this concept. Give an example of how
low information rationality might help a voter to make a voting decision."
Oct 30: There will be no class on Friday, November 3rd (I will be at UCLA presenting a paper).
Sep 25: The syllabus and research paper assignment are now online. I've taken our readings
to the Alternative to create a class reader, which should be available in the next few days.
