Alan J. Wyner is Dean of Undergraduate Studies for the College of
Letters and Science. Dean Wyner's research interests include natural
hazards policy, the implementation of public policy in the environmental
resource area, and the political role of water in California. He
has also conducted extensive research on the introduction of the
Ombudsman institution to the American political system and on the
consequences of legislative reform in California.
