M. Kent Jennings awarded Miller Prize from APSA

At the 2004 Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association, M. Kent Jennings, Professor of Political Science, was awarded the Warren E. Miller prize from APSA's section on elections, public opinion, and voting. The prize is awarded periodically by vote of section members in recognition of an outstanding career of intellectual accomplishment, and for service to the profession. Jennings is only the third person to have received this award, following Warren E. Miller from Arizona State University (1995) for whom the prize was named, and Sidney Verba (2000), Harvard University.

He has received numerous awards and fellowships throughout his career, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and grants from the Ford Foundation, Russell Sage Foundation, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institutes for Mental Health.
