"Iraq and the War on Terror: Were We Wrong?" The Arthur N. Rupe Great Debate Series at UCSB The Interdisciplinary Humanities Center (IHC), Santa Barbara News-Press, Department of Political Science, Global and International Studies Program, and the Office of the Provost will cosponsor this presentation, which is next event in the annual Arthur N. Rupe Great Debate Series. The featured speakers are William Kristol, Editor, The Weekly Standard and co-author of The War Over Iraq: Saddam's Tyranny and America's Mission, and Joseph Wilson, acting U.S. ambassador to Iraq during Operation Desert Shield and author of The Politics of Truth. The debate will be moderated by Professor Benjamin J. Cohen, Louis Lancaster Professor of International Political Economy, Department of Political Science.
