Presentation by Richard Parker:
"John Kenneth Galbraith: His Life, His Politics, His Economics"
The Departments of History and the Interdisciplinary
Humanities Center (IHC), along with the Department of Political Science and
the Center for Labor, Work, and Democracy will co-sponsor this presentation by
Richard Parker,
Lecturer in Public Policy and Senior Fellow of the Schorenstein Center, Harvard University.
In his authorized biography of
John Kenneth Galbraith, Mr. Parker provides insights into
how economics is practiced, American foreign policy under several administrations, and the
private life of the man many consider to be America's most famous economist.
